Jeff Scott
President & Founder
Jeff's passion for renewable energy, green building and efficiency began in the early nineties while studying architecture in Japan. During his seven year stay, Jeff came to understand and appreciate the Japanese philosophy of "task, not mass", modular scale and designing for people. He applauded the concept of building only what was needed, and using the environment to create the highest performance, low impact designs possible. This knowledge and passion eventually led Jeff to Colorado, where he utilized the same approach to found SolSource in 2004.
Linking his belief in sustainable design to strong environmental values and business skills, Jeff Scott is President of SolSource, one of Colorado's preeminent solar energy firms. SolSource is an engineering, procurement and construction firm, providing turnkey solar electric, heating and hot water systems for commercial, government, educational and residential customers. Jeff holds two B.A.s (Business and Computer Science) from Miami University of Ohio. He served as President of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society during 2008 and is a frequent speaker at energy and green building related events across the country.
