Educational Clients

SolSource Inc. is one of the state's most experienced solar engineering, procurement, and construction management companies providing renewable energy systems for Colorado schools. Our sister company, SolSource Energy Solutions, LLC, has designed and installed 20 solar photovoltaic and solar thermal systems from elementary schools through universities.

These PV systems help lower the school's operational costs by generating renewable energy from the sun, and provide a sound long-term financial investment. In addition, solar photovoltaic systems offer an educational opportunity for teachers to incorporate renewable energy into the school's science and environmental curriculum.

SolSource has partnered with Fat Spaniel Technologies to offer real-time monitoring of school PV systems allowing students and teachers to see how the system is working and providing real time and historic energy production data.

Jeff Scott, president of SolSource, is an active solar educator. In 2008, Jeff served as president of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES), regularly leads classes for Colorado public school and MESA students, and serves on the CRES Education Committee to bring renewable energy curriculum to the classroom.

Greening Our Schools
