Home to 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students, the University of Colorado at Boulder campus choose SolSource to design and install a 7.56 kW solar electric system on the roof of the University Memorial Student Center (UMC building). This PV array is the first solar system in the University of Colorado school system. SolSource installed the 750 sq. ft. PV array with zero penetration to the roof surface. SolSource was later hired to remove and re-install the system after a new roof was installed on that portion of the UMC. SolSource reengineered the system to a low-penetration racking system to improve the arrays performance.
