Commercial Project Profiles WalMart's SolarWall
In looking for an effective and efficient method to provide the spacious shopping store with a way to keep both warm and cool, the SolarWall approach proved to be an ideal solution. The sun’s heat creates a 10 to 20 degree increase in the wall cavity, which is then drawn in through the store’s ventilation system.
Utilizing this solar energy source allows the supercenter to require less energy to operate the mechanical heating system and less natural gas to heat the store.
SolSource and WalMart are both proud to be involved with commercial recognition of the benefits of solar energy and all renewable energy sources.

WalMart's SolarWall
The WalMart Supercenter in Aurora has something unique about its construction. In an effort to become more environmentally conscious, the store was built with the help of SolSource Energy Solutions and includes a 9,800 square foot solar wall, which generates the equivalent amount of heat as a 420kW capacity heating system. In looking for an effective and efficient method to provide the spacious shopping store with a way to keep both warm and cool, the SolarWall approach proved to be an ideal solution.
